I was introduced to Dulce de Leche by a friend with roots in Argentina. I started making my own from cans of sweetened condensed milk and then found this web page http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2014/01/homemade-dulce-de-leche/ . It's wonderful and not hard to make. I've yet to make the Cajeta with goat's millk but it sounds irresistible and I think it would make a wonderful gelato. Let me know and I hope to try your treats soon.
