A traditional Korean grain powder made from steamed rice that has been dried, toasted, and ground. It is mixed with cold water and sugar, honey, or condensed milk to make a popular summer drink. Misutgaru is made of glutinous rice and other ingredients such as barley, Job's Tears (yulmu), brown rice, black rice, Alda beans, black beans, corn, white bean, millet, and sesame seeds which are ground, roasted and/or steamed, then mixed together. The Koreans in LA and OC will go nuts over this.
