When I think about heaven, I see Andy's Orchard - rolling California hills and perhaps the most prized stone fruit trees in the world. Summer at Gelateria Uli is synonymous with stone fruit sorbets - peach, nectarine, and Andy's Flavor King pluot. I love all of Andy's produce, but the Flavor Kings are best for gelato because of their particular balance of natural sugars and acid. Some of our longest standing regulars wait all year for the two- to three-month window when we get to enjoy this special flavor, and visit the shop daily for a scoop. Thank you Andy!
